I was a beer judge at the SIBO exhibition a year or so before COVID. Any beer designed to be hazy was marked as such. And yet we were asked to judge unmarked beer similar to that you have been served.
That looks wrong to me. Certainly I would have sent it back and exchanged it for something clearer!
Have I understood you correctly, your point is the photo of the Beer Board does NOT make it obvious that Fall Out The Sky is Hazy?
Interesting point. I've never thought of it like that before.
I very rarely think about the style of beer I am drinking as - try everything - is my bag. If I order a beer, and it comes in hazy, my knee jerk is - aaahhh it's hazy. That is particularly true of Keg Beers (which this one was).
Genuine question - is your concern more a) might be something wrong with it or b) didn't want hazy, it should have said.
I sometimes look back on Untappd (which I use a lot) for other people's pictures to see if they were hazy as well. (They are/were for this one). So, I was OK with that one as served, and it was lovely.
That beer in the picture was not "hazy" - a much better word would be "murky".
If it tasted fine - is supposed to be served like that etc. - which is what you seem to be saying then fine you drank it not me. But going on appearance urgh!!

Really keen to fully understand your point.

Aaahhh
Got you. No, I love beers that look like that. I prefer them to be labelled New England Pale or New England IPA. So, I know what I'm up against.
Thanks for explaining.
